Project description - Opencart One Page Checkout

Very much inspiration on this checkout page is taken from a similar version aimed for Magento. Please discover the checkout process at [login to view URL]
This is a very complex project which requires good knowledge in booth techniques like Ajax, but also a good understanding about the open source shopping platform Opencart.
The aim for this project is to create a more user friendly and intelligible checkout process, which will (hopefully) increase my client’s conversion rates.
Functionality from the Opencart core version which will be removed
- The field Fax will be removed
- The field Company will be removed
- The mandatory field State will be removed, including its functionality of having different payment/shipping according to which State chosen.
- The possibility to checkout as guest
- The possibility for store owner to set Account Terms
Tricky Opencart core functionality which need to be kept intact
- Possibility to have different payment/shipping methods according to which Country chosen
- Store customers addresses when checking out
- The possibility for store owner to set Checkout Terms
Major changes in the checkout page
- The information for Address, Shipping, Payment & Order summary will be shown all the time
- The store’s default country will be chosen initially.
- Ajax update interface will be the same as in my reference version.
- Those Payment & Shipping alternative which are available for the default Country will initially be displayed.
- The shipping & payment alternatives with lowest sort order will be chosen initially.
- VAT will initially be automatically applied as if the customer will order from the stores default country.
- The chosen Country will auto update the available shipping & payment alternatives.
- The chosen Country will auto update the applied VAT.
- The chosen Payment & Shipping will auto update the Order summary section.
- If a certain payment alternative has an additional content to display when its selected, that content will be displayed under the payment alternatives.
- The option to sign up for newsletter will only be displayed when not logged in.
Summary:
What we are demanding is a One Page Checkout extension for opencart, which is almost identical as the Magento One Page Checkout which can be find at [login to view URL]
The whole checkout process will be ajax based, and the page will not be updated at any time.
My attached image description shows all scenarios of the process, and the final result will be looking exactly the same.
Requirements and Terms
- You need to understand how Opencart is built and its functionality during the checkout process.
- References of previous works with similar performance is welcome
- You are not allowed to release this as an extension for the public.
- I will be allowed to use this extension in unlimited live stores, and even resell it.
