Deliver downloadbale products through API

Hi,

As IT manager of an association that sells documents, I need a solution to deliver downloadable products on the fly.

The documents are built with option values provided in the orders. So the basic download functionality of opencart won't satisfy. The customer specifies options like : output format (PDF, EPUB, KINDLE...), addenda to include, document geometry (height, width, margins...), layout attributes (font, font size...), ISBN to include, contacts to add to the document...

The program that builds the document is external. So the idea is to schedule may be a nightly action, a script that will fecth the orders of the day, get the options provided, build the corresponding document, and upload it to the customer's download page, and then update the order status.

Does opencart API prodive enough commands for this ? If not, is there a payable API that can help ? And how can we cooperate for us to have the script ?

Note : Our version of opencart is 3.0.3.3
