Upgrade existing Android app, add Video recording functionality

Existing app allows to make collages. when tapping a section in the collage, currently app only allows to take photo. I want to add video recording functionality, so collages play videos as well, and look like these for example: see attached 'File1', & 'File2'.
Also want to allow uploading photos from photo album when they tap a section of the collage and camera shows, so instead of taking a photo, they can upload from photo albums.
I have a friend who described which library is good to merge video and images into collages, see attached file named 'Library'. Cant guarantee it works, please confirm yourself, or use a different library you already know works.
I need someone to start immediately, and work full time on this project including weekend, need it done asap.

when the user taps a section of the collage, we should have a custom built camera view which allows user to tap the record button to capture photo, or long press to record a video till its released. also, on the bottom left corner of the camera shall be a photo icon which opens photo albums to select an existing photo from. which ever option user chooses, the photo or video will be placed in the section of the collage that was selected.
