I need an app for posting a daily newsletter. I would like the app to basically be a replica of the Espresso app by the Economist. I have attached some pictures of it.
Each days' newsletter would have 3 sections, just like in the Espresso app, but the sections would be call "5 Things," "Trade of the Day," and "Cool Stuff". Then, instead of there being headlines in the sections, it would just be the content of the newsletter, so people don't have to click and go to another page to read the update. Also, if the person swipes to the right or to the left they would go to the next day or to the previous day.
There should also be a Settings page, which is a little gear icon at the top right side of the screen, which takes them to a page where they can view Archives. The list of archived should be set up the same as the attached screen shot, with a simply scrolling list of days that they can click on. Nothing else really needs to be in the Settings page for now.
I would also need a back end system to write and post the newsletter through, and to send push notifications. What would be the best way to post it? Should I write it somewhere then copy and paste the text? Should it be a PDF I upload to the back end system? I don't know how this part would work, so this would be up to the developer.
If you encounter design issues, like what something should look like, or how it should work, I can answer questions, but please also offer input and suggestions.
