Introduction:
The Gaslamp Quarter Association, Inc. is seeking to identify and select a proposer with a specialty or background in mobile application (“App”) design and development to plan and produce the Official Gaslamp Quarter App of the Gaslamp Quarter Association. Our goal is to award to the company that can offer the best proposal for creating this unique, interactive and compelling digital representation of the Gaslamp Quarter and its businesses.
This request for proposals, (hereinafter “RFP”) primarily seeks independent digital design and development firms (hereinafter “PROPOSER or PROPOSERS”) to plan, create and produce the official Gaslamp Quarter mobile application (hereinafter “APP or APPS”) for the Gaslamp Quarter Association (Hereinafter “GQA”). The primary theme is to welcome visitors to the historic district and its many businesses in a unique, fun and interactive way while creating awareness of the many elements of the Gaslamp Quarter District. The secondary theme will be the raising of funds to support the GQA’s ongoing marketing program.

RFP due back from prospective vendors Date: January 10, 2011

Proposals are due at the Gaslamp Quarter Association, Inc. offices NO LATER THAN 1:00 P.M. PACIFIC STANDARD TIME (PST) ON JANUARY 10th, 2011. Postmarks will not be considered.

Representing over 400 businesses located in the historic Gaslamp Quarter, the Gaslamp Quarter Association is the 501(c)6 non-profit merchants association of the Gaslamp Quarter. The Gaslamp Quarter is the premier dining, shopping and entertainment district of San Diego, located in the heart of Downtown San Diego.
