I have a grouped shape, made up of both similar and dissimilar sized shapes.

IE. a smaller rectangle inside a larger rectangle.

Please see example file for a better idea, and as your working file.

What I require are that will:

1.

In a grouped shape, using Visio Shapesheet formulas, how can I pin 1 shape to another so that they are shapes are edge to edge. IE butting against each other, left and right edges.

2.

In a grouped shape, using Visio Shapesheet formulas, how can I do the same as Question 1, but overlap the two shapes by 85mm?

3.

In a grouped shape, using Visio Shapesheet formulas, how can I keep on sub shape connected to bottom left corner AND stop it resizing when we resize the whole group.

More information regarding what I am doing is below, but if anyone has the three formulas to do the above then I can figure rest out from there.

Summary of outcome desired, should you an alternate solution.

Using Shapesheet formulas I want to enforce the following behaviors when resizing the group.

1. Position two identical sized rectangle shapes side by side, with left edge touching right edge of other shape.

The group is made up of rectangles shapes and the grouped shapes to always maintain edges together/touching no matter how we resize.

2. Position two identical sized rectangle shapes side by side, with left edge of one shape OVERLAPPING right edge of other shape by 85mm.

Again, in a group and the grouped shapes to always maintain edges overlapping same amount no matter how we resize.

3. Position bottom of smaller rectangle to the bottom of larger rectangle, so that when resizing grouped shape. Smaller rectangle is not to change height during resize, but must resize width to match group.
