Hi. I have a MacBook Pro 13'' mid-2012 with 2.5 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB, 960GB SSD.

It has been sluggish, and I get the "loading" multicolor circle very often, sometimes just by clicking the secondary button or copying a bit of text. So, I took it to a repair shop. They said it had too many large files, which I deleted. It now has about 180GB free space. It recently got new heat dissipation mass (sorry, not sure if that’s the proper name but it’s this mass that is added somewhere near the CPU to help dissipate heat).

I think there must be something causing this slugging and I believe an expert can find the cause.

I want to hire a remote service that will diagnose and solve (or suggest solutions for) this problem. The work is to be done by allowing remote access via Teamviewer or Zoom for a maximum of 2 hours.

Thank you.

The problem could be the version of your MAC OS. The mid 2012 MacBook Pro performs best till MAC OS “SIERRA” i.e. MAC OS 10.12 The future MAC OS versions are designed for SSD hard drives and not mechanical hard drives. Flere
