Kashmir was recently hit by a major flood . About 5 million people have been affected by this tragedy. Thousands have perished based on unofficial reports. About half a million people are still stranded in submerged houses. Water level reached as high as 26 feet. Although officials are trying their best to rescue people but their resources are limited.
Despite enormous magnitude of this disaster, there is very little chatter about this tragedy. I am writing on behalf of an NGO to find professionals who can help us launch a social media campaign. The group is not political and their sole purpose is to help generate awareness about this issue in India, US and other countries.
