Do your own research on the topic of classroom and bathroom rule to educate yourself more on that chosen topic.
Do your own research on how to visually communicating ideas with kids at this specific age group (1 to 5 years old).
Create one hand sketch for each rule. It’s a crucial part of the brainstorming aspect of your design.
Design a poster for each rule using any design software of your choice. The artworks should be consistent and has one theme (Poster dimension: tabloid size or 11 inches wide x 17 inches long).
Use only one typeface for all designs (You can use different font styles but only one typeface).
Put the school logo at the bottom of your designed posters (uploaded in the moodle).
All designs should visually and conceptually relate to the theme and should support the design objectives in the brief.
Keep in mind that you are targeting small kids (1-5 years old). Design for this age group is about making something easy to understand and straightforward.
Things to consider when designing kids at this age group:
- Use bright colors and cheerful mood.
- Use minimal text and plenty of graphics and pictures. Stick to plain talk and be straightforward.
