Hi bidders,
Im looking to build a website and business similar to Groupon but i believe much less complex, il describe what i have in mind:
Front End
> Consumer enters website
> Consumer will find different categories to select from, e.g Salon Deals, Cafe Deals, Gym Deals etc
> Consumer clicks category, once he clicks he will be taken to the category page that shows all available deals, e.g he click gym deals, he will go in and find deals from the different gyms available.
> Consumer selects preferred deal, once he clicks on the deal he will be taken to another page that shows more details about the deal and the company offering the deal
> Consumer can add to cart multiple items or go straight to check out.
> Finally consumer can check out by registering and paying or proceed quickly as "guest checkout" where he will enter contact details for him to receive the digital coupon code and will be given the option to receive it eithe via SMS or email.
> Make it easy to embed payment gateway for online payment.
Backend For Admin:
> The ability to create or delete company/supplier accounts with user and pass that i can give to company/supplier - Including details, Company Name, Description, Address, Picture upload
> Ability to easily add or remove any deal for each company/supplier account. Details include original price and new deal price, title, picture upload, small description.
> Assign the number of digital coupons available for each deal. System to generate unique codes for each coupon.
> Automatic Inventory mechanism, when a coupon is sold the inventory of remaining coupons should update automatically. I should be able to track how many coupons have: Sold , Remaining & Redeemed.
> Include total sales dashboard showing how many coupons sold from each category and business and money value.
Backend For Company User:
> Company user to able to sign into "Deal Redemption Page" using user and pass supplied by me.
> User will be able to see how many coupons >
Sold, Remaining & Redeemed.
> Consumer shows coupon code to company user. Company user enters code and clicks redeem. System will verify code. If successful, message: "redeemed" will appear and the same is reflected and showed in the system inventroy. If code is duplicate or been used before, message "expired"
> Consumer logout of system.
Im no technical person so i may have missed points in how the operation goes. However, i hope you understand what im looking for. If you have any questions, please let me know.
