Layout for construction booklet

The instruction booklet contains all steps to reassemble a mechanical clock. The booklet is going to be produced in high-quality and therefore the layout should reflect that as well.

• Format: DIN A5

• Volume: app. 100 pages

• Content:

o 150 pictures provided for download on clients web server

o text provided in word-Document

• Print type: ring binder

Scope of required service:

• Optimize the layout of the provided templates (word) and create two improved suggestions.

• Suggest free-of-charge font type.

• Create complete layout on base of approved templates.

• Use Adobe InDesign CC for artwork

• Provide final artwork as indd-file and high-rise PDF/x-1a (four-side-trim = 3 mm, 300 ppi, embedded fonts)

Timing:

• Project assignment – Monday, 29 March 2016

• Client provides 2 templates – Monday, 29 March 2016

• Consignee presents 2 optimized template suggestions – Monday, April 4 2016

• Selection/Change (up to 2 loops) of templates and font type

• Client approves templates – Wednesday, April 13 2016

• Client provides content (text, images) – Monday, May 2 2016

• Consignee provides final artwork for proofreading (PDF-file) – Friday, May 13 2016

• Client provides proofreading findings (as comments in the pdf-file) – Friday, May 27 2016

• Consignee provides final artwork (details see scope of service) – Friday, June 3 2016
