I am looking for a logo re-brand to give me strong brand representation going forward. I need something I can use in all formats (possibly something slick with movement for my website, but I'm prepared to listen to everything) giving me an instantly recognisable image. To be honest, I don't really have a logo today, just a particular font and colour scheme I work with.
About my company:
We are a furniture and home furnishings retailer based right next to the sea in the idyllic retirement resort of Sutton on Sea, Lincolnshire. Our customers is primarily retired, but we would also like to appeal to a more youthful market.
Going forward, I have plans to turn my store into more of a department store than just a home furnishings retailer, so a re-branding might well be the best way forward. Our current name is Squire Furnishings, but most locals call us Squire's or Squires' anyway - this might be the way forward, but we have also considered Squires Of Sutton, or even SOS (this could certainly be used in the logo design, if not the actual name). Our current colour scheme is burgundy and gold/cream (depending on the format), using Engravers MT as the main font. We feel this represents a good strong traditional branding, but we are really looking to have something to take us into the next 20+ years whilst maintaining the same traditional core values of quality, value and service.
I have attached some of our current designs (which I did myself), as well as a photo of our store - which is the last shop before the beach in Sutton on Sea.
If anyone can encapsulate everything we're about int the re-brand I will be delighted.
