Logo design for Apple Mac Security Application!
We are looking for a logo that will show security and trustworthiness!
Product name will be provided after you are awarded the project.
The product is exclusively for the Apple Macintosh market and needs to have a premium look and feel. As such this logo must also fit into the Mac environment! You would need to keep in mind the current MAC OS X Mavericks operating system as well as the new MAC OS X Yosemite operating system.
The company you will be developing the logo for is offering a consumer product in the Mac security sector and the logo needs to express that while maintaining a professional feeling and essence.
The logo needs to be appealing for both teens and adults. This said, teens are very important in terms of the potential logo recognition.
The logo should have a certain desire and appeal while being considered instantly cool and inspire the must have attitude that that drives the 18-25 marketplace.
The logo must be usable with and without the brand-name next to it as well as with or without the slogan (or other slogans) as an icon and it must be strong enough to stand by itself to be recognised and represent the product!
Locks, keys, shields and keyholes and eyes are all icons that have been used so many times that these are not what we are looking for.
The logo will need to be delivered in all the usual high quality image formats including the vector formats of AI / EPS / PSD (separated layers) and JPG PNG etc
Some kind of variant of the logo will need to be done extremely small, this does not mean that the logo needs to be basic, only that a variant of the logo needs to be provided that is still recognisable at a very small size and resolution (16x16 pixel for application icon) and moving up in size from there...
The logo needs to be usable in both SQUARE (think Mac .app icon) and BANNER (think webpage & letterhead) formats
The webpage and letterhead formats may have the application name next to it to help make it be more of a banner.
