Jekyll Project - Open data and Static pages

I need someone who has a lot of experience with Jekyll for this project. I currently have a big site up with Jekyll but need to make some modifications.

1. I need the open data to not be requested through API, but instead self-hosted on our server.

2. I need archive pages to be static. Currently any search is done with elastic search but I need these pages to be generated and accessible by search engines and users.
