Hello, I am looking for a health / wellness / lifestyle oriented writer to help me write a book with original tips to help busy people make healthier choices, adding FUN to the mix.
The point of the book should be to INSPIRE and EMPOWER people, to help them have a Aha moment and decide to take steps, with a friend, colleague, partner as their "Wellness buddy". People committing to achieve something with a friend have more chances if they are accountable to one another.
The book would contain the following:
* FACTS: share updated stats from WHO and organizations about NCDs, Obesity, sleep deprivation for adults and kids, to show SCARY facts and also show HEALTHY facts about how people with regular physical activity, balanced diet, restorative sleep, exercising their body AND their mind with mindfulness moments, and a purposeful life actually have a stronger immune system preventing minor ailments ; are more resilient to go on & thrive ; are more creative and ressourceful in their personal AND professional lives. It is up to each of us to DECIDE on which side of the coin they want to live, what reality they want to contribute for themselves and their loved ones.
* WHY WAIT: address the fact that (sadly) people wait for the moment when they are ill (accident, NCD, Lyme...) , to take steps to get better (Confucius said "we have 2 lives, and the 2nd one starts when we realize we have only one!)
* WALKING the TALK: why do people take New Year resolutions that are forgotten in February? why do people pay a membership fee in a fitness club and stop going after 2 months with millions of USD of unused memberships? why do people say "yes, I know, I should exercise more, drink less alcool... but I'll start some other day...". What mindset, framework, method can help people stick to their wellness goals, keep walking. eventually baby steps, regularly, help implement sustainable change.
* TIPS to add FUN to the MIX : then give original, witty, smart tips to improve (upgrade) one's life and health with 5 Pillars: SLEEP, NUTRITION, MOVEMENT, MINDFULNESS, SENSE OF PURPOSE (solidarity).
* final chapter will give examples of companies implementing Workplace Wellness ; Mayors turning their cities into Well Cities (where people live, work & play with strong communities) and the United Nations 17 SDGs that are implemented in SDG Cities.
