We are a leading NZ occupational health consultancy operation based in Auckland which, amongst other things, provides asbestos surveys and subsequent reports. We currently have an established system in place where information collected electronically from field staff is entered into an Excel macro program which generates the reports which are sent on to our clients.
Our system was developed by someone in England a few years ago, but now several major amendments need to be made and we don't have anyone with enough Excel experience to make these changes. We are also contemplating a complete overhaul of the system so another method of producing reports can be found which is more efficient, perhaps using other Office suit programs or something else.
We require someone to firstly understand how our current system works and what changes we need to make, and secondly to help produce a system which works better for our staff and clients and reflects changes required by updates to procedures and guidelines to which we are required to work to.
