We are a small manufacturing company, we need a ready reckon er created preferably in excel.
We want to calculate the length of pipe needed to bend at any angle between 11° and 90°
We know that the length required for an 11° is 1045 mm which includes a straight length at each end of 350 mm (spigot length), given that, we know that there is 31.4 mm per degree in an 11° bend. However that calculation doesn't work for 90°.
A 90° bend requires 2280 mm of pipe minus 700 mm for straight spigots leaving 1580 mm divided by 90° is 17.5 mm per degree.
We need a calculation/ ready reasoner to obtain lengths required for based on a sliding scale between known values of 11° and 90° .
