Extract data insights from relational database

This is a 2-3 day project that involves extracting data from a relational database on clinical trials.

Necessary skills: PostgreSQL, SAS, R

Overall parameters:

(1) Please fully read the instructions below before bidding or contacting me.

(2) Please exclude data from trials begun prior to 2015 ("start_date").

(3) Please only focus on trials in Phase 3 ("phase").

The data structure and details can be found in the "The Data Dictionary". The Data Dictionary provides detailed information about each data element in the database. Every study-related table/column in the relational database is represented as a row in this table: [login to view URL]

This project will be broken down into steps, detailed below.

Step #1: Provide an excel table with all the clinical trials occurring outside of USA and Europe, by country. The goal of this table would be to see how many and which clinical trials are being administered in a given country. This table should have the following columns:

(a) country

(b) id_information

(c) brief_summaries

(d) start_date

(e) sponsors

(f) nct_id

(g) enrollment

Step #2: Based on the work in Step #1, I will provide you with a list of 5-7 countries to deep dive on. For each country, provide an excel table with all the facilities participating in clinical trials in that country. This table should have the following columns:

(a) id_information

(b) brief_summaries

(c) facilities

(d) sponsors

(f) nct_id

Step #3: Based on the work in Step #2, I will provide you with a list of 5-10 clinical trials to deep dive on further. For each clinical trial, provide an excel table that shows "drop_withdrawals" for this trial. This table should have the following columns:

(a) id_information

(b) drop_withdrawals
