Ayeia Games LLC is currently seeking a Unity 2D Programmer (C#) for our upcoming 2D action-adventure title.
Programmer Must Be Able To:
- Take maps created with Tiled Map Editor and create a playable level.
- Take tile sheets and convert them to animations.
- Be able to incorporate a save system similar to the Legend of Zelda (three save files / save in any room).
- Be able to work with placeholders.
- Must be able to start immediately.
Demo Includes:
- A skippable prologue that plays before the main menu.
- One playable character with 4-way movement.
- Two obtainable "weapons" including a sword (with a swinging animation) and a needle (used to stun enemies / create a path / similar to grappling hook in the Wind Waker).
- Text boxes
- Keys and locked doors.
- Treasure boxes.
- An in-game currency.
- A shopping system.
- An inventory system.
- Five unique enemies with different movement patterns and animations.
- One boss enemy.
The demo will put the player in one area of the game ( a forest) without any access to the rest of the overworld. The purpose of the demo is to show off the features of the game, most notably the feature to "die" and use the body left behind to solve puzzles.
We are a small group with a very limited budget. For this reason, I am looking to to pay a flat rate for the demo ($200~$400). Please begin your bid with "2D!" if you actually ready this.
