I'm looking for a talented draftsperson or engineer who can create detailed plumbing and sanitation drawings for a renovation project involving 6 apartments across two floors, incorporating a M-bus system to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
Key Features:
- The design should factor in pipe diameter sizing and the specific locations for our plumbing fixtures.
- An integral part of this smart system is the inclusion of monitoring for hot water consumption, energy used for heating per apartment, as well as a leak detection system - so the successful candidate needs to have specific experience in these areas.
Ideal Skills:
- Smart Plumbing System Design Experience: You should have a proven track record with smart plumbing systems, including familiarity with M-bus technology.
- In-depth understanding of pipe diameter sizing and appropriate fixture location
Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with Northern European plumbing and sanitation standards will be considered a significant advantage.
- Knowledgeable about water consumption monitoring systems and leak detection systems
- Familiarity with Northern European standards for plumbing and sanitation is a plus.
Project Scope:
Both 2D and 3D drawings that detail pipe dimensions, materials, valve locations, and controls. Technical specifications such as flow rates, pressure, and temperature settings are also required. The building will include a rainwater harvesting system for toilet flushing, necessitating an additional cold water line to each bathroom.
Out of Scope:
- Ventilation drawings, as existing documents are already in place.
- Underfloor heating designs, which will be provided by our system supplier.
Deliverables:
- Detailed 2D and 3D plumbing and sanitation drawings in PDF format, A3 size for printing.
- Recommendations for heat pump placement and cold water distribution layout.
- Translations of drawing texts into our local language for clarity and standard compliance.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrable experience in drafting plumbing and sanitation systems for similar projects.
Proficiency in producing detailed and accurate 2D and 3D drawings.
Knowledgeable in M-bus system integration and energy-efficient solutions.
Excellent communication skills for discussing and finalizing design aspects.
