UPDATE: I have added a word document of the style we like. Like Modern No. 20 Font and like a gray, white and red color palette. Looking for anything that could be done to the simple style to make it unique. Think about it on a print form on a shopping bag, on a store window, on a website. Pull from that and we will have it!

Opening a Specialty Food Store October 9th in North Carolina. The location is Belmont, NC which is a suburb of Charlotte, NC. The name of the store is Belmont's Specialty Foods.
The store will feature specialty packaged foods and grab and go fresh items. ALL foods are produced by specialty vendors, we produce no food on site.
The store is located in the downtown footprint of Main Street. The brand design that we are looking for should accomplish 2 things: tell people exactly what we do and tell people how to get there. I have attached a copy of the front of the building, where "Wisteria" is listed, that will be changed to "Specialty Foods"...Belmont's will be hung vertically to the left of the upper window. I have also attached a throw back parade photo that show's a "Belk's" sign in the background, this is what I envision for our sign.
For the design of the logo...Belmont's is the main name and Specialty Foods should be considered the secondary or tag.
Colors: We like the following colors: Navy Blue, Gray, White; I have read the Red identifies best with food brands so I am open to whatever suggestions.
Font: I would really like the brand to feel that it has been established and existed for the past 25 years..if that makes sense. Considering the location, I want it to feel like it has been part of the foot print for many years.
We will use this logo is in marketing aspects of the company (print, on-line, etc.) We will need the winning design to be in an electronic formats.
