<Overview>
Please collect product information on vehicles or service information that have or will have the technologies described in the “Technology Description” section below.

<Technology Description>
This technology relates to a discharge system for supplying vehicle battery power to a residence or to a device outside the vehicle (e.g., microwave oven or other appliance).
One of the problems with discharging a vehicle's battery is that not only a discharge connector but also a charging connector is plugged into the vehicle's inlet. This may cause the user to discharge from the battery even though the charging connector is plugged in to charge the battery.
To solve these problems, this technology detects whether the connector connected to the vehicle's inlet is a connector for charging or a connector for discharging. Furthermore, if the technology detects a connector for discharge, it adjusts the amount of power transmitted by distinguishing whether the connector is connected to a device such as an appliance or to a residence.
