I need a new logo for my fitness tracking app called Anathletics. It's development is driven by 3 fundamental values:

* Simple - Easy and quick to setup and get going
* Flexible - Designed to accommodate any style of training
* Insightful - Provides meaning feedback for progress

The theme I am going for is some combination of scientific/rugged. This is a workout app, so I want the feeling of determination and excitement to to train, but I also want a feeling of confidence that this app is here to help - to track and crunch your numbers to make sure you get the most out of each workout. The term Anathletics encompasses this by being a combination of the words "Analytics" and "Athletics". I've attached my current logo for reference, but you don't need to follow its example at all.

I would love a unique and distinctive icon for use as the favicon and home screen icon and whatnot, as well as a full logo with the product name. Color and font are open, but please provide the exact styles used.

Please do not submit the same design on various surfaces/backgrounds. I will instantly reject them.

I've attach a sample of the app UI with an empty circle in the top-right indicating where the icon will go. Maybe that will help. The orange color I've gone with is #E6652D.

UPDATE 4 =============

I've extended this competition for another 5 days because I just haven't seen a logo that really works. I believe people are taking the above description too literally and I keep seeing redundant entries. In an effort to streamline promising work, I'm imposing the following criteria:

1. Should not include more than 2 colors
2. Must still look good in a single, flat color
3. Must look good on its own AND as part of the Sample-UI-Screenshot.png I attached
4. No 3d logos
5. Must have at least a very short description of how it represents my brand. Basically just explain in a couple words why you designed your logo the way you did. This should weed out those that are just submitting a bunch of random variations of icons.

Any entries that don't meet those criteria will be rejected without any additional consideration.

Also, in hopes to help those better align their designs with my expectations, here is a new description of what I am looking for:

I would like an icon that represents an app built for tracking and analyzing of workout data (sets, reps, weight, etc). I want energetic and athletic appeal, but also with a sense of professionalism and sophistication. If you incorporate scientific elements, remember that this app is statistical and analytical in nature. Avoid imagery related to biology/chemistry/geneology/etc. The icon does not have to resemble the letter "A" nor does it need to have an upward growth arrow.

Feel free to ask any questions in the comments section. And please remember that you guys are the designers, I am not. I'm looking for you to use your creativity to come up with something I can't.
