Simple Cycladic Design
The proposal resembles the simple way of life of a summer vacation house in the dry land of the cycladic island. The stone wall to block the northern winds becomes a barrier and the means to connect to the surroundings. The vegetation is pretty dry with stipa, aloe and cacti. Materiality also blends with the existing building and materials. Chestnut wood for the pergolas and polished concrete with plaster finish furniture, conclude the simple character of the project.
