Hello All,
We are looking for a sharp, creative and brilliant graphics designer for a kids retail store. Our objective is to hire the winner(s) of this contest on a six (6) months contract...based on the drawings submitted here, who would then build a full collection for this kids line.

The types of images we are interested in are VERY SIMILAR to the sketches found in file1 except this will be for younger girl models age 3-5years old

FILES:
file1: sample images of what is desired - same as on sample website
file2: kid images to be drawn
file3: sample image of what we DO NOT want - if your sketches are in any way close to these, then we'd have to say you are not what we are looking for...

As can be seen from file1 and file2:
EMPHASIS:
1) Hair: emphasis should be made on an Afrocentric look/feel.
2) Assesories: emphasis on colorful hair ribbons, bracelet shoes etc...as it applies to the image
3) Attire/wear: emphasis should be made heavily on the dutch wax-print that the [kid] model will be showcasing or advertising
4) Attitude: emphasis on young, cute but with a lot of sass...check the sample site or file1

NOTE: THere's not much emphasis on the skin color, however it can be inferred that the images are that of an African[American} decent,

Hi guys! thanks for submitting. So far we've seen some very good sketches and unique interpretations. For extra inspirations on print fabrics/colors - you can google "ankara" or "dutch wax print". We will go over the drawings in a couple of hours and send feedbacks. Thanks all

  hi ch. i'm just concerned cause its not always allowed for us to just google the fabric designs and use it. for the designs you need for your contract, is the designer to do the fabric design too and these sketches? thanks.

  Hi @noni26, these are merely sketches to view your drawings. Also these fabrics are literally everywhere and there no intellectual property rights tied to them. However, to answer your question, we intend to provide our own fabrics once the contest is over and a winner decided upon. Thanks...great question

Just a few points: there are about 9 kid models in file 2, however you can choose any 2-3 models or a combination of all of them to showcase a unique look. We only require 2 full sketches to be submitted.
