Hello all,

We need a logo for a guest house that we will open soon in Panama. Should be a declinable logo. The name is "Pelicano hostal". For the moment it's only a small 3 rooms guest house but should become a brand and be declinable such as "Pelicano house" "Pelicano bar", "Pelicano Lab".

We'd love to have something with a very refined and minimalistic design. We should be able to feel the pelican bird shape (flying one) , but should be subtile, even inculded in the typo. Love swiss typo work, (and we are swiss people living in Panama, so it's also part of our identity) So we would appreciate a great attention work on the typo.

We also like the work of mo ganji, berliner artist (have a look to the pictures joined)

The place is a surf and a dive spot. There is already quiet a lot of places, restaurant and hostal, so we'd like to have a very strong identity, very different from the other one (very colorful, handdrawing/painting, surf oriented).
Should be simple, smart, sober, and stylish.

For the color should have maximum 2, bnw, taupe color, off-white, grey, brown, eventually deep blue. See also some joined pictures.

A logo based on the golden number ratio would much more than appreciated.
