THE GROGNARDS PAINTBALL TEAM

I need a logo designed for a paintball tournament team. The team is open only to players who are over the age of forty. Yes, we are old. The name of the team is Grognards. The logo will be on our team jerseys, banners, website, apparel, etc.

Some background on the name:

The word “grognards” is French for “grumblers.” Napoleon’s elite Imperial Guard, also known as the “Old Guard,” served by his side from his rise to power until final defeat at Waterloo. Of the many benefits bestowed by Napoleon on his Old Guard, they alone of the troopes in the Grande Armeé, were allowed to complain about army life. Thus they became known as the “the grumblers.”

The Old Guard had to be over 6’0 in height, veterans of several campaigns, and wore tall bearskin hats to give them a distinct and intimidating appearance on the battlefield. I attached a few pictures. If it could be incorporated someway, that would be best.
