Update:

I feel it will be better if I share the app's name with you so you can understand the target better.

The app will be called "Coincerns" Which is, well, coin + cerns, a play on concerns.

Hence the idea of the keywords of the icon which is coin + concerns (troubles, worries) and how this app will help the user get rid of his worries.
I still didn't get a design with "coins" in them.

Hello, I am looking to design an Icon (with a couple more graphics) for an Android Store listing.

Application Theme:
The app will be an Expense management or budget management app. Allowing you to record expenses/purchases/income and so on.
Popular examples:

Keywords of the icon:
While designing the icon, keep in mind these identity keywords:
Coins, Expense, Concerns, Troubles or Worries (and how this application will remove your worries about money)

Requirements:
Icon should adhere with Android design guidelines:
https://www.google.com/design/spec/style/icons.html#icons-product-icons
The icon should also follow a bit the Google's own design or style of its own apps, like (please check on playstore) Hangouts, Google Maps, Google Play Newsstand, Chrome Browser, Google Analytics, Google Play Games. Simplicity is key, however it doesn't mean it should not rich.
The App's Icon should reflect a unique identity.

Required Graphics:
Icon should be designed with Vector graphics, I should be able to scale it up and down as I needed easily without quality loss.
1. 512x512 Icon Size (PNG With Transparency)
(Icon should look good at 48x48)
2. 1024x500 Feature Graphic (PNG, No Transparency)
3. 180x120 Promo Grapgic (PNG, no Transparency)

Future: After this, most probably I will require a simplistic website design that can be based on materialdesign for web. https://www.getmdl.io/
The website's design will show the app, logo and talk a little about it and then point to the playstore to download.

The "ok hand logo" seems to be a popular theme for many logos indeed. It's still a nice design. And there is still time for other original ideas before deciding. Thank you.

  Indeed, the ok hand concept is very popular, catchy and memorable design these days. Our design have other proportions and the coin in it, so it's distinctive. However, we have a list of other concepts to pick for this project, we just need to find the right one. You welcome.

  We fear that if you contest there is no guarantee, when we were designing it for you, but we will never be paid even if the results are amazing. That experience is common to all freelancers. Sorry before.. :) But, I tried to design it for you.

  I understand your point of view. But I (as someone who wants a design) would love to have amazing results, I see no reason why I wouldn't want to get my design if it is great. On the other hand, if do the guarantee thing and I got say (5 designs) which I don't like, I will have to pay it anyway and kind of throw that money away.
  
  Being the first time, I need to sense the average level of quality of designs. If the average is satisfactory I will definitely go with guaranteed option next thing I have.
  
  In the end, I want results that's what I care for.
