We are a new wine and travel brand for South America, and we want your help to improve our logo! Our market are the new generation of wine drinkers and travelers, and the brand should be clear, engaging and dynamic. It is for wine lovers (but not snobs!) and also for people who like to travel, learn and have fun. You can see our current branding at our website www.thesqueezemagazine.com, we have a different banner for each different section of the website. Our logo at the moment tries to show the continent of South America as a bunch of grapes, but we aren't 100% satisfied with it. We like hand drawn graphics and a fresh style, we don't want anything too corporate, too dark, or too cliche. We love colour, and especially love purple as that is the colour of wine. The logo should be something instantly recognizable that we can also use for gravatars and social media. Ideally it would be a family of logos that we can use for the different sections: articles on wine and travel, videos on wine, wine notes, and wine tourism experiences. Our brand is 'The Squeeze'. We chose Squeeze because you have to squeeze grapes to make wine, and 'the squeeze' in British English means the latest news or gossip. We are looking forward to seeing your ideas!

  Thanks for your feedback. We have seen other similarly priced contests for logos from scratch, which is why we chose the price range. We already have a concept and logo idea to work with so I believe the task is already started. I should perhaps also explain here that if we particularly like the work of any graphic designer or artist, we are likely to hire them for further jobs.
