I am after a brochure with minimum 6-8 pages (can go unto 12) for a wedding reception. This brochure will be given to prospective clients to showcase the benefits and inclusions of what this function centre has to offer.

The final images I will provide but initially you use your own images for submission. These will be substituted at the end. You will also need to provide your own wording although I will be providing some guidance on this.

The brochure needs to be elegant, sleek and easy to read. This function centre is based in Sydney in a seaside suburb with gorgeous water views. The service is unquestionable, the decor is modern and fresh and the food is amongst the best. It is a very fine establishment and as such the brochure needs to be of the same standard. Please, do not submit something boring and uninteresting.

I have included examples of what we are after from other wedding reception centres to give you an idea of what we are after.

The final submission must be provided in .psd format which will allow me to make any changes (for example change the images) and alterations as required.

Let your creativity run wild but remember who the target audience is and the style we are looking for.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for all the effort and creativity you put towards my contest. I must say there were some really nice entries and it took me a while to decide which one was most suitable. Please understand that this was not only my decision, I had to run it past the owner of the business as well.

in the end it came down to not only design but also content and with that in mind there was one clear choice. This entry actually went to the trouble of writing up some content rather than provide me with the 'Lorum ipsum….." blurb. If you read the contest criteria it was stated that some content was required.

  Well, that's at least what the best contest holders do when they want something really great. They prefer to give more directions to get to what they look for instead of just rating and rejecting like old schoolmasters.

  Maybe next time you should start a separate contest with the content writing and not award a content wrighter. Your design expectations seem to be modest, so why spend $500 ?

  Please understand that I am a professional photographer so I do know a little bit about design. I do also know when I see something that I like, and other things that I absolutely love. Unfortunately I didn't love your submissions, BUT, I did like them. There were other submissions I really didn't like.
  I'm also sorry that you perceive that I do not recognise luxury and elegance; that's your opinion and you are 100% entitled to your opinion.

I don't like your taste and your prefrence.. You said you want elegant and luxury.. But I dony think you know any thing about luxury and elegance. I know you will choose some rectangle and square shapes with few text and some random images.. But that's not design and please look at your example you attached.. Top rated entry is not 10% o that.
