I'm currently creating a product called "Whisk(e)yFolio." This is going to be a hardcover book for Whiskey enthusiasts to record the whiskies in their collection as well as write in information from when they taste it.

What I am looking for is a 2-sided page design of the actual page the customer will see in the book they purchase.

I have done a very rough design in Photoshop with the basic skills I have in it. This shouldn't deter you from altering the design to create something more coherent, retro, classy, eye-catching, and fun. It is merely to give you the certain fields I'd like the user to be able to fill in.

The images I have used in the preliminary design were all just an example (found in Google with reuse permission). Because the customer will have a wide variety of whiskies; from Bourbon to Scotch to other regional types, any images should be vague enough to get the idea across. For example (for the Distillery you might find some images of different stills or something).

-In terms of the section for inserting a photo, I merely want this space for the customer to insert a photo they print out on their own if they feel inclined to do so. The photo I put there as an example shouldn't be in the final design. It could be a grayed out bottle of ambiguous whiskey with instructions to print a certain size photo to place there.
-For the "nose" and "taste" I'd like at least space enough for 10 fill-in-blanks each.
-For the color I'd like something more appealing then the slightly hard-to-read image I currently have.
-The logo at the top of the page is I'm working on and don't expect you to also create this logo.
-Where I have inserted text in certain fields I need it to be transparent enough for the customer to write in their entry. Maybe it is next to the text field such as Whisk(e)y: ____________ or something to that effect.

Be creative.

The size in the photoshop file is roughly where I want to be but I am open to some alterations if it makes the overall design look better.

  Well if you get together with friends/family and each share a small glass of great whiskey and get to take the bottle home with you, you might have 1/2 a bottle left. It's merely another tool on the tool belt.
