Konkurrence Instruktioner
YOU ARE CREATING A DRAWING, NOT PROGRAMMING A WORKING GRAPH. YOU CAN CREATE IN ANYTHING YOU WANT, I JUST WANT A DESIGN.
***The graph you create needs to be at least as good and have at least the features of one attached to this contest. You are just creating a drawing, not coding a graph***
(SEE ATTACHED FILES)
This project is to create a BEAUTIFUL design for a graph. I've included what the graph should depict plus some source, but it's boring. The graph shows rents for an apartment rental and compares it to median rents for an area, either a city or a mile radius. As you click on 1 BR, 2 BR, etc, it will show the rents just for those types of units (1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, etc). Also, the data to the right is projected data, and needs to be noted that its not actual numbers, but rather projections. Perhaps the line should become dotted or something.
PLEASE NOTE: I don't like 3d graphs.
This has to be something that can be problematically created in HTML5 and put on a website. Please keep that in mind in your design. So just making it a pretty picture won't work out well when it has to get built into a website.
The current design shows the median historical and projected rent for the city where the property is located, Irvine. The user could have clicked on Miles instead to show rents for a radius surrounding the property they are looking at. The arrows above and below the miles are designed to increase or decrease the radius.
All designs will be considered. Please be creative.
Having something that looks professional, while friendly to a consumer, is the highest priority!
The purpose for this type of graphic is to show someone if they are getting a good deal on the property they are thinking about renting. Everyone wants to get a good deal. Also, if they were to move further away, perhaps rents would decrease, or increase.
(And yes, there is a typo in the title. Just seeing if you have bothered to read the entire bid request or not :-)
I am not creating this as an urgent contest, however, I will likely choose a winner sooner than later.
