  Thanks everyone for your submissions, the majority of the entries were very good, but I had to rate them based on what we think the viewer's response is going to be. For example, using humor, or a picture of someone who looks too young to be in the oil field, might cause the ad not to be taken too seriously since the ad is placed in an engineering newsletter.

  Please Check #27 - I have Made it as Simple as Possible, thus not forgetting that you wanted it to appeal to the younger crowd.

  the current ad I have, attached to the contest, is the best ad that has worked for me so far, and I was hoping to improve on it.
  The picture simply says: one man with his laptop can use our software from anywhere. Usually oil companies struggle with that and they end up faxing handwritten notes from the field to the main office where it has to be typed in etc. And with one simple picture we are able to tell them that problem is solved.

  ok guys, these submissions (multiple screenshots and graphics around a laptop etc) are too crowded and very similar to old ads that I had made myself years ago and they didn't work..after trial and error realized that my audience (engineers) are more attracted to simple ads (visually speaking) and ads that provide actual information vs. slogans.
