  Thank you very much everyone for all submissions. We have now singled out two remaining entries between which we will need to decide. Eliminating other 5* entries has not been easy, but eventually we had to make up our mind about the direction we are heading to. The final decision will be made shortly after the contest ends.      Hi, You may want embossed design business card, right? There are a point that designer can show with emboss. But when you will print, you should tell the press to make this business card with emboss and they will show you some emboss paper which will more perfect with your business card. I think may want that. Best Regards

  Good evening! Thank you for your latest submissions - a lot of progress here, all across the board. Let me explain a bit about our rating system:
  
  1) Rejections - happen if we do not like it at all, which is usually when you deviated too far away from the brief, or there is absolutely no connection between the card and our trade - natural stones.
  
  2) 1, 2, or 3 stars: has potential to go to the next stage ->
  
  3) 4 stars. all entries rated 4 stars will go through a final round of discussion
  
  4) if your entry has not been rejected but has no star - we are still discussing it.
  
  5) if your entry received a star or more and is later being rejected it means that we either see not enough potential to get to 4 stars (let alone 5), or that one of your other entries supersedes the one that gets rejected.

  So let me sum up here please:
  1) front side: Kallisthos logo, name of person, position of person. email address, 3x url (home page, facebook, linkedin). play with effects (embossing, relief, stone patterns, ...). company: natural stone. marble, onyx, travertine, ..
  2) back side: Athena logo, centered, owl above letters.
  designs that do not at least try to incorporate these ideas will be rejected - once again, we appreciate your efforts, but please read the brief, and the comments.

  In general: all standard designs -> I have to remove them because for standard I do not need a contest - while I appreciate the effort, this is not anything we can accept. At least play with colours. Possibly make the front side like a marble pattern with the logo embossed or relief'ed. On the back side, I suggest printing the Athena logo a bit differently: Centered, and the owl on a line of its own, the letters underneath - but dont fill that back side completely.
