Design of Frequency Multiplier for Ku-band Applications
This paper exhibits design and development of the frequency multiplier. The generation of high-frequency sinusoidal signals is a key functionality of receivers and transmitters which operate in millimeter wave systems. The performance of microwave solid-state oscillators vitiates on higher frequencies. In order to overcome this problem, a local oscillator operating at lower frequencies is developed and followed by frequency multipliers with good conversion efficiency and output power.
