Personal Website For Local Politician Using Wordpress
This is a simple, two page site I built for a local politician in Tokushima, Japan. She had already had the brochure designed when I approached her about building a site for her campaign (which she won largely because of this site) and so that is what I used for the general design framework. Using the styles, colors and images from her brochure, of which 10s of 1000s were distributed, I helped create for her a solid, accessible online presence for her base. I will never forget the feeling of checking Google Analytics for the site to see that nearly a 1000 people had visited it in a single day. Helping win the election was something that really cemented my passion for web design and the power of positive client relationships. Technologies used: Wordpress 5.0 Divi Page Builder CSS3 Japanese language ability This was a very rewarding project and one I learned a lot from in that sometimes taking the initiative in bringing value to a client can make all the difference for their success.
