The RiCH Company was founded on the principle of “individual solutions for unique individuals.” The belief was simple—no single solution could meet the needs of multiple people. Rather, solutions, by definition, had to be customized and tailored for each unique person, organization, or business based on the needs, hopes, and aspirations of the specific individual or group. That belief in the individual shows most prominently in the work of the RiCH Company Arts, where our talented group of designers, programmers, and printers collaborate to produce unique, tailored designs for a wide range of individuals and organizations. Each design begins as a discussion where we learn about what the client is looking for, and ends with the creation of the product that exceeds what the client envisions. Graphic design, like art, is an intellectual tool. Like art, its purpose is to communicate. Our job, as your designer, is to accurately represent your beliefs, foundational ideals, and governing principles through signage, logos, flyers, and mailings. So how do we apply this to your project? OUR PROCESS Discussion We do not have set prices for set design services, as such “packages” would be in opposition to our commitment to the individual and to the customized package. Rather, we begin every project with a discussion with the client, where we talk about the client’s goals, visions, and ideas for the project. We use that information to put together a custom proposal that includes the exact cost for the services needed to meet the client’s needs. Concept After discussing the project in depth with our client, our designers put together a series of mock-ups or concepts that showcase our ideas for how the project might look. These concepts give us a place from which we can continue our discussion with the client A design concept is the overall driving force behind successful and effective strategic planning and design. A concept surmises the focus of the problem and its solution. It is our guide to every aspect of the solution you seek: visual design, functionality, communication and impression. Drafts We constantly revise using continued discussion with our client. Each draft adds new features and brings us one step closer to the final, realized dream. Completion Only after the client is satisfied with a project do we consider a project complete. And, even after that moment, most of our contracts require us to continue to be involved in our client’s projects—whether that means adding content to a website or printing menus for a restaurant’s grand opening.
