Scraping of Phentermineclinics.com
For this project, I wanted to scrape the entire directory for providers of Phentermine across the United States. This required creating a web scraper that could go multi-dimensional. First, the scraper must go to the state-level, then the city-level, and then into the listings for that city. The resulting output of the scraper was an Excel CSV file with the City, State, Clinic Name, Clinic Address and Phone Number for each of the nearly 10,000 clinics. The scraping was all done using the R programming language.
