About Me
I am a mature, capable responsible man, with years of experience in IT (since the 1980's) in Canada and the USA. I also have experience in accounting and audio/video production. Up until recently I had been working full time (5 years) as a systems administrator and .Net C# developer. During this time I was solely in charge of all mission critical systems including servers, networks and workstations. In addition I was the sole ASP.NET/C# developer. In addition I managed a small IT/web content team. I have left the "brick and mortar" workforce fulltime, due to a back problem but I am fully operational in my home office. Also, this allows for increased productivity without the "multitasking" and other interruptions that so frequently get in the way. As a result, I am looking for contract work that I can do from my home office. I am strong in the areas of hardware and software systems, logic and innovative problem solving. I am committed to my work and take any and all tasks seriously and acknowledge full accountability. I also have an excellent reputation for dialogue, detail, commitment, honesty and a touch of humility.
