Internship Progress Report
A two week training/internship program was attended by ten selected students from Second Year of Petroleum Engineering Department of NED University at the Southern Division Office of Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP) located in Karachi. A formal request letter was sent from the Department approved by the Chairman Prof. Dr. Abid Murtaza Khan concerning the training of selected Second year students in Geology and Geophysics. This request was later carried out and the training program formally commenced on the 17th of June, 2013 and ending on 28th of June, 2013. The departments of GSP in which the students received training are named below: 1. Petrography (from 17th June – 21st June 2013) 2. Mapping Techniques (from 24th – 25th, 27th – 28th June) 3. Geophysics (26th June, 2013)
