Implementing OFDM on USRP2 kit using python
OFDM is a multi-carrier system where data bits are encoded to multiple sub-carriers and sent simultaneously in time. This project describes the implementation of OFDM transceiver according to 802.11a standard on USRP2 kit taking into consideration the most important issue of communication system which is the synchronization between the transmitter and the receiver. USRP2 allows you to create a software defined radio using any computer with a Gigagbitethernet port. The entire design of the USRP family is open source. The USRP product family works with GNU Radio, a free-software (open source) framework for the creation of software defined radios. GNU Radio works on Linux, Windows, Mac OSX, FreeBSD and NetBSD.
