Collaging has always been a passion and hobby of mine. While attending the New Hampshire Institute of Art, I discovered how I could take my love for collaging into the fine arts. My collage work is created using digital manipulation of various recycled images. The process of deconstructing and re-integrating images to create narrative, is an intuitive and ongoing visual experiment. In my work, I am especially intrigued with utilizing space, balance, depth, and negative space. I enjoy experimenting with the harmonization of color, texture, and shapes. The images I am drawn to and assemble are more often a reflection of my dreams and subconscious. I aspire to create pieces that reflect the fragmented imagery of dreams and fantasies. My collages are a product of true awareness of thought and imagination.

About Me

I've always felt a deep connection to line, color, and texture. My favorite subject to draw has always been people. My portraiture is a reflection of my subject's personality and emotion. I strive to incorporate themes of irony and satire in my work, often exploring the internal struggle that ensues with in my subject. My illustrations focus on the application of psychology towards humanity and our own self-perception in a narrative form. They also explore stereotypes perpetuated by society as symbolic representations of human behaviors. In stillness, I seek to capture the essence of personality and character and the uniqueness of each person's soul.
