ScoreGeek - iOS and Android
ScoreGeek is an app for board game fans who want to track their stats, get achievements when they beat their personal high scores, and sync their plays with their friends. The app has an extensive online database of game plugins which handle the scoring and math for users. These plugins are created by users of the app using a scoring API that I created. It allows them to build "widgets" for adding up player's scores and perform calculations automatically. It uses IndexedDB or LocalStorage depending on the device capabilities to store stats and display them in charts. All games, plays and stats can be synchronized in the cloud with the user's "gaming group": enter them once and they automatically show up on the rest of the group's devices. Additionally, this app interfaces with BoardGameGeek.com (BGG) using AJAX and the BGG API. It can search for games, images, post plays and stats to user's accounts and more.
