A Historical place.
Last month i and my girlfriend went to the Ahsan Monjil, a historical of bangladesh. I and my girlfriend went there in the early morning.and visited the place all the day.Though it is not so big place to visit it for a day.But we spent there a long hour and collect all the information about that place.But it is a matter of sorrow that we can not collect the picture of inside of the Monjil.The construction of this palace was started in the year 1859 and was completed in 1869. Ahsan Manzil is one of the most significant architectural monuments of Bangladesh.The height of the ground floor is 5 meters and the height of the first floor 5.8 meters Nawab Abdul Ghani. In 1888, Lord Dufferin also accepted the hospitality offered at Ahsan Manzil.That the short History of ahsan monjil. It is located in old daka beside the river Burigonga.The water of Burigonga is so dirty that the bad smell of water come to the monjil.If any body want to visit it i suggest that you go in the rainy season..
