I owe this to the time I serve to the Red Cross as volunteer, back then; it was to save life\'s, however this skill is now translated to be able to do what has to be done, in order to achieve the required goals even if it is against the clock. Also I have always stood out, due to my persistence and fast learning skills. Work Experience Pymes-IT Sep 07 - Current Its market is Small and medium companies. My role provides integrated solutions using mainly open source products. Most common projects varies from software based firewalls, proxies and maintaining sip servers using asterisk and FreePBX, as well as web applications such as shopping carts and ERPs. Oracle Corp Aug 2010 - May 2012 The job title was a Business Analyst, however my duty was to support the Sales team. Basically whenever they were going to do a quote for a complex configuration, I had to review it and provide feedback regarding supportability, industry standards and best practices. Hewlett-Packard Feb 06 - Aug 2010 I start working for HP as a level 1 Engineer within the Industry Standard Server tower, later promoted to Backline and finally working as a Level 2 Escalation engineer for the last three years. My main task was, to provide an integral solution to issues raised by Proliant customers. Our team got involved when the issues were flagged as critical (front and back line teams unable to resolve), or it was a complex problem involving several technologies. We had to assess where the problem was a product issue or a complex problem. If it was a product issue, we had to reproduce it in the lab in order to identify the problem, provide possible fixes and then work with research and development teams. If it was a complex problem, we lead the diagnostic efforts of the different teams within HP, in order to root caused the problem and deliver the solution. Due to this I have had exposure to a wide variety of technologies. My field of expertise has been mainly in Linux operating systems. Other related job tasks are: ?Provide leadership in technical problem management and the resolution of all issues, working closely with multi-discipline and multi-tier teams. ?Develop action plans to investigate and resolve complex issues/problems and clearly communicate these to engineers, customers and/or relevant managers; ?Identify and contribute to projects to improve product support, customer satisfaction and team efficiency; ?Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and drive the conversations/discussions. ?Interact with colleagues/customers from different countries/continents and background ?Perform Customer Expectation management as part of the escalation process ?Manages the solution process with high management attention in a complex environment. ?Isolate obscure problems of unknown origin. ?Take responsibility for delivery processes such as: End-to-End problem ownership solutions. ?Lead & develop customer relationships. ?Lead high level cross organizational customer orientated projects. ?Provide training to levels 1 and 2. ?Work closely with Product Division (Research & Development) in case product issues arise. ?Write technical papers (documentation of product issues discovered) Alienware 2004 - 2006 It was an entry level position as an offsite technician delivering support to the Alienware products (laptops, desktops, etc.) Red Cross (Volunteer job - non paid) (1998-2003) I work for Costa Rica Red Cross for 3 years, in their youth program, its goal is to get closer to the communities by supporting a variety of people who need help, such as nursing homes, drug rehabilitation centers, etc. After three years I became the lead of the unit in Zapote, my main responsibilities was to take care of the development (such as aid and fundamental trainings) of the members of the unit, as well as to plan our annual agenda, make sure to execute and followed all the projects the unit had.
