Description: Manufactured a complex small-scale component for MALAM IAI from 15-5 PH stainless steel, heat-treated to 58 HRC. The part included deep and narrow slots up to 25 mm depth, machined using disc cutters with thicknesses ranging from 0.4 to 0.8 mm. The component required extremely tight tolerances and precise feature referencing across multiple surfaces. The process combined turning operations followed by 5-axis indexed machining, involving more than 40 tools, complex setups, and high-precision finishing to meet strict aerospace quality requirements.
