I am a Romanian CS Student. I am passionate about all science related, and even more, about all that is informatics related. I like challenges, and i like to learn new things, new technologies! Education: *In 2006 i graduated from my high school (Math-Informatics class), I also have an "Atestat" certificate in programming from my high school. *In 2010 June I graduated as a computer engineer. I'm looking forward to participating in a master's program. *I am very good at learning on my own. In fact most of the skills i have in my profile I learned on my own. Employment: * I worked for one month at Siemens (now called Continental), as a programmer assistant, for summer practice. My job was to develop XSLT code that would generate C source code for some automotive applications. * I worked and still work on another freelancing website (which I am probably not allowed to specify here). At the moment of writing I have completed 68 jobs with success. Here is a partial list of some of the contests that i participated on: 2010 - the "Alexandru Rogojan" programming contest - 1st Place 2010 - ACM-ICPC (ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest) - Local Contest - Me and my team won the 1st place, and we also qualified for the regionals, which will be this fall. 2010 - iTEC (iT Engineering Contest) - BitDefenter contest - 3rd place 2009 - the "Alexandru Rogojan" programming contest - 3rd place 2009 - ACM-ICPC(ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest - Southeastern Europe Region) - Regional Contest - Me an my team received Honorable Mention 2009 - iTEC(iT Engineering Contest) - A hardware contest, the continuation of CEC. The task was to control hexapod robots with FPGA boards. Walk, avoid obstacles. My team and I won the 1st place. My profile picture is from this contest. 2008 - CEC (Computer Engineering Contest) - A hardware design contest, organized for the first time at the Politehnica University of Timisoara. The task was to implement and optimize a multiplier on an FPGA development board. My team and I won the 1st place. 2008 - I participated in the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest - Southeastern Europe Region - me and my team took the 26th place out of 44 very competitive teams, Honorable Mention 2008 - the "Alexandru Rogojan" programming contest - 2nd place 2007 - SCSS - "Sesiunea de Comunicari Stiintifice Studentesti" - I went there with s1tuner, a digital guitat tuner, that runs on my portable mp3 player 2006 - Informatics Olympics - county level - Etapa Judeteana - Mentiune 2 2006 - Informatics Contest "Nemes Tihamer" international - Budapest - 14th place 2006 - Informatics Contest "Nemes Tihamer", transilvania level - 2th prize 2006 - International Math Contest "Sekely Miko" , transilvania level- 2th place, i was present at the international contest too in Serbia 2006 - Software contest "Noi Info" - 3d Chess 2005 - International math contest "TMMATE", 1st edition - 4th place 2005 - Softwarw contest "Noi Info" - Special Prize: Geiger Muller Counter with a microcontroller- it has been presented at the "Circle of principles" at the faculty of chimics, Biologics, Geographics, and it will be published in a book 2005 - Informatics Olimpics, county level - 3rd prize 2003 - Informatics Olimpics, county level - 2nd prize - i also participated at the national level in Focsani 2005 - Math Olymics, county level - Mentiune 2004 - "Nemes Tihamer" international informatics contest, Budapest - 24th place 2004 - Nemes Tihamer", transilvania level - 2th prize 2004 - Physycs contest "Vermes Miklos" - transilvania level- Mentiune 2003 - Physics Olimpics - county level - 3rd price
