A couple weeks ago, we had the pleasure of reading and editing a children's book by Margaret Bucklew, a fantastically talented author. She was so pleased by our work that she sent another one in! We're honored with her editorial choice and delighted to share another fantastic story with you! This time, we have Unrest at the Ranch: A Chapter Book About Developing Character. Once again, Bucklew doesn't disappoint! Her book dives into topics that may otherwise be difficult concepts for children to learn (such as building self-confidence), and she handles them with such ease (no wonder she was a teacher!). In a book that's piled high with characters, it's incredibly relatable, and being an easy read, I have no doubt in my mind that children would dig into this book alone-rather than waiting on mom or dad to read to them.
