OphieLu Studios, January 2007 – Present Established freelance graphic design and marketing business focused on print media, corporate logos, catalogue layout and artwork. · Active 2030 Club USA & Canada – Created local Fort Wayne Chapter newsletter template, national brochure, Indianapolis marketing brand, and tshirt design for various events. · Discount Service Parts, a division of Summit Manufacturing – Created parts catalog that is used in their national marketing objective. Current and future work includes: creating a marketing package as well as artwork design for their artistic window security and functional steel artwork. · Lincoln Highway Association – Created conference program, Lincoln Highway brochure, Bronze plaque (permanently attached to a building on the corner of Lincoln and Dixie Highways in downtown South Bend, Indiana), and postage cancellation stamp. Current and future work includes website header, newsletter template, membership brochure, letterhead, membership cards, and business envelopes. · Rotary Fort Wayne – Redesigned club flag. Future design work includes annual membership directory. · Kerry and Dawn Yinging – Created wedding invitation, reception card, and response card for November, 2009 wedding. Fort Wayne Children’s Choir, June 2004 – May 2009 In charge of all administration of the organization, including marketing, fundraising, board relations, staff and volunteer management, and financial governance. · Designed all marketing and advertising material, including posters, postcards, newsletters, website design and CD artwork. · Designed all tshirts for seasonal, special event and touring use. · Developed online social networking sites. Borders Books Music Movies and Café, June 2000 – May 2004 Responsible for corporate accounts, instore events, public relations, instore training, and national store opening and training. · Created flyers to enhance end cap displays. · Designed flyers to promote café specials. · Created the Harry Potter Butterbeer mug. IPFW School of Visual and Performing Arts, February 1999 – May 2000 Responsible for internal and external publications, media relations, special events, grant writing · Designed CD artwork for IPFW University Singers · Partnered with inhouse graphic designer to create marketing materials for all performances and productions. · Partnered with graphic design department to develop ArtScene, VPA’s newsletter.
