My Opinion on Abortion Abortion, the process through which a pregnancy is terminated before the normal birth of a baby can either be induced or spontaneous. When a pregnancy is terminated intentionally, it is said to be induced and when it occurs on its own it is said to be spontaneous. Spontaneous abortion is mostly referred to as miscarriage. We people talk about abortion, they refer mainly to the induced type. This is because spontaneous abortion occurs naturally. Spontaneous abortion occurs when the body detects that a baby is not properly formed and hence decides to expel it. Abortion is devilish, it should be discouraged. It equals the same offense as killing since it involves the termination of life. It should be a punishable offense and people indulging in it should only be freed if did it to save life.
